Is there any negative aspects to it?

I really like it. I don't have to take pills every day, I can't feel it, my husband can't feel it and we have not had any pregnancy scares at all! I actually think my PMS symptoms have decreased since I started the Nuva Ring (I have been on it for a year now) and I would recommend it to anyone. It is a little bit more expensive than other forms of birth control but I would still highly recommend it!
p.s. I never had to insert it and remove it in front of my doctor like Hazeliz72 said...I have NEVER even heard of that!

I was a womens health nurse and found that women either loved the Nuva-ring or hated it. Some would leave it in for the entire 3 weeks, some would take it out during intercourse. And then there's the story of the girl that took hers out, set it on the nightstand and her dog found it and chewed it up!!!

most women like it but when you get it you have to insert it and remove it in front of your dr. also when you first start it your PMS will be completely insane, im talking angry mood swings much worse than pms mood swings when not using the ring. The ring can be felt by your partner during sex ... but thats about it.

Yes but for 1 day it is uncomfortable, it is weird and I think I am going back to the patch
