what do you do ?

when you have a sore throat what do you do to remedy it
i gargle saltwater but it tastes nasty any other suggestions besides go to the store and buy something?

drink some hot tea, green tea is always good.

It usually depends on why you have a sore throat, if its due to mucus or a cold drink tons of orange juice, it'll clear out the mucus and the Vitamin C will help you get over the cold much faster.

While I'm waiting for the cold to run its course, I have gotten relief from inhaling nose drops (Beconase Aqua) that trickle down and coat my throat. I also like Hallis lemon drops with honey.

you use lemon and honey!! you get lemon juice and put it into a cup then you put in honey and heat it up in the microwave. Then you drink it !! it really helps sore throats !!! i done it a lot.

Try warming honey and mixing it with hot water. That works pretty good.
