why is it that the local chavs in the village hang outside the library? surely it would give them more street cred to find a cooler spot. and just how do they manage to perch their baseball caps so high on their heads without them falling off! and why does it seem mandatory to be a male chav you have to sit on the cross bar of your bike but not actually go anywhere!

They hang out by the library because they wish the could read.
They use glue to perch their caps like that, the left overs from their sniffing session goes to the hat.
The sit on the cross bar with no problem because they have no balls. The don't go anywhere because their practising for the future.

God, I hate chavs. Why do they tuck their trackie bottoms into their socks? Why are they all so uninteresting? Why are they all so unattractive?
Most of the chavs in my town hang about outside the job centre (why they don't go in and actually look for a job I have no idea)
Mind you, I suppose they help manufacturers of plastic flowers and tacky Christmas gifts stay in business, not to mention cheap and nasty 'figurines' and pictures of tigers.
They think they are being 'individual' but they all dress the same (I suppose J B Sports has a limited 'clothing' section).
Why are they always on shows like Trisha and Jeremy Kyle, showing off their stupidity and their 'anger' issues?
You must have a superior breed of chav where you live. Most of the chavs here wouldn't know what a library was, let alone find it!
Yep, I hate chavs, and wish they'd all just f*ck off and get a life.

Well here the chavs hang out in the park on the benches drinking beer and smoking. Having a bike to sit on the cross bars and not go anywhere is because they can't actually ride having never been taught. Most of them grow up and can't drive either. They drive too fast and they have never been taught officially either. Its called driving wthout a licence - weird whats in isn't it???

It's a passing adolescent phase. I guess back in the 50s the boys would have been 'chavs' and the girls who hung around with them outside the 'chippie' would have been 'chavettes'.

I would have been a 'chavette'!!!

The only difference is that we didn't get labels - we were just the local kids chatting and laughing about one thing and the other whilst we ate our bag of Smith's crisps with a blue bag of salt inside.

We went home from school, did our homework - well I didn't, my friend who was much brighter did it for me on the telephone, mum made supper and then I rode my bike up to the Heath and the chip shop.

We didn't have TV we had to make our own fun, but we were trained to accept responsibility for ourselves and to have respect for our elders and the wider community. On Fridays the boys went to Scouts/Senior Scouts and the girls to Guides.

I really Wish local authorities weren't pushed to support their finances by selling off playing fields, charge excessive prices for youth facilities, or remove existing facilities. I also wish we were a society that could include those of the 11+ age.

I believe that this would reduce, though never remove, a large portion of those with not much else to do. I was a very well behaved child, why I do not know, but still had nothing better to do except sit out side my friends homes till it was time to come in (pre play station).

its just a stage in their lives called adolescence, i was like it once but i did'nt wear a cap and a hood, we used to get pissed on cheap cider and smoke weed, it seemed a good idea at the time, experiments you might call it. Dont be too harsh they will grow up and realise how completely lost they once were. Cute pic laura.

It's because if they run out of people to annoy the library is an easy target. They are also like moths attracted to the light shame it's not enlightenment instead.
