I think you might have answered your own question here, but, if you are saving the detergent and water for another wash cycle, then your drain may be clogged from too much debris. You might want to call a plumber or a Kenmore rep.

First of all my question to you is Why would you want to wash your clothes in dirty water from another load? This makes no sense! You might as well not wash them at all! For that matter fill up your bath tub and let them all soak together then you don't have to use electricity either!!! This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of!! Humans shed millions of skin cells a day, not to mention what else is on your clothes from sweat to bacteria! You're asking for trouble!!

Have you by chance also been turning the dial to change cycles on your washer WITHOUT pushing in the dial first??? That would mess up your timer real fast. Easy to change. Go to the library get one of the fix it yourself household books...it will show you a picture and everything. Timer is located on the backside of the washer behind where the cycle dial is located...Rule number 728....always push the dial in on the washer before turning to change cycles.

You could have stuff clogging it since you keep recycling the water. Gunk could be sitting in it since you are not letting it empty and it has nowhere to go except to get clogged. Dont use the same water you just washed in anyway, how are you suppose to get your clothes clean?

There is a frain hose on the back of the machine, it could be pinched together, I would check that before I called a plumber...
