Iam so nervous, I found out yesterday that I have these cysts on my breast I was told to stop drinking caffine, and I have to get a blood test taken to check my hormone level. Is this normal? Iam do deathly scared of cancer, can someone please help me out here?

The two previous answers are both useful. I've had many breast cysts. I saw a specialist M.D., and many times she aspirated the fluid-filled cysts. She inserted a very fine needle (didn't hurt) and aspirated the fluid from the cysts. The colors were interesting -- sometimes orange, sometimes pink, sometimes clear, and once the color of motor oil! Fluid-filled cysts feel like little water balloons in your breasts when you do a self exam. I've also had fatty lumps, and you can recognize them through breast self-exams. After you get to recognize your own breasts and which lumps are new and which ones aren't, you'll feel more comfortable and less afraid. Ask your doctor or nurse to help you with your self exam so that you'll know what you are feeling.

Dont worry. It is not cancer. I had a lump also, they asked me to have an ultrasound and it turned out to be a sebaceous cyst. Befor I could get an appt with a dermatologist, I tried some hot packs and it became alright. I was just given some antibiotics.
The best thing to do is ask your doc to show you how to do self breast exam and do it regularly so you can detect much earlier if something is amiss.

Cysts are NOT cancer. They are commonly occuring blebs that can pop up anywhere around your skin. Mostly they just cause some discomfort.
