Why does President Bush's page come up on top when you google "Failure"?

and when you google "liar" Tony Blairs page comes up on top?

those words are nowhere on the page or in the meta search tags.

it's called a google bomb, and it's not accidental:

many internet users have specifically conspired to link to that page on their websites alongside the anchor text 'failure' so as to get a high pagerank on google for the bush page with the word 'failure'.

thus, when the word failure is searched on google.com it comes up with bush's biography page as the first search result.

'A Google bomb or Googlewash is Internet slang for a certain kind of attempt to influence the ranking (called PageRank) of a given page in results returned by the Google search engine, often with humorous or political intentions.'

EDIT: how come some people see the word bomb and go straight for the thumbs down button without reading the answer regardless of whether it's the correct answer or not?

you have to wonder what kind of mindless click-happy drones there are out there on the internet and why they consider real answers on yahoo answers such a personal threat.

maybe i should just instead not provide the answer and resort to making immature derogatory statements about president bush and join in with all the toothless rednecks who have no intention of providing a useful answer?
