Any oldies, like "Splish Splash" by Bobby Darin or "Twist and Shout" by the Beatles. Those go over really well in the younger grades.

Funny songs llike John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt, or Peanut Butter and Jelly. (You can find them on kids' compilation CDs.)

Maybe a few Kidz Bop versions of songs that are popular now. (The Kidz Bop company changes some of the more risque lyrics to pop songs and makes them kid-friendly by having kids sing them on the CD.)

Classics- I've Been Working on the Railroad, Old McDonald, Wheels on the Bus, etc.

Maybe some popular Sesame Street songs? (C is for Cookie, Rubber Duckie, etc.)

Please, please, PLEASE, for the love of all things holy, don't play any Barney songs!!!!!!!!!!

Well, Kidz Bop is my #1 choice. For the girls, the Hannah Montana CD came out today, 10/24/06. I don't know if you would want to choose that one because the boys probably wouldn't like it. Also try movie soundtracks. They ALWAYS work!lol
