Yes, all bad and good things come to an end eventually.

It depends on what kind of things we're talking about. There's no rule that says bad or good things have to come to an end.
But everything has a natural cycle. If you brake this cycle, your action could either make the bad things worse or reduce their intensity.
However, I believe everything happens for a reason, so seeing as bad events must have a reason, I guess they end when you make a change in your life. 'Cause that's why they exist - to motivate you and determine you to action.

Sometimes you have to end them yourself. Mentally or physically move on. Time heals most things and the previous statement about balance is true. There are always good things if you look for them.
