You should talk to your doctor. Ive heard of women doing excersizes that far along and it actualy helped with labor but also for other women it started their contractions too early, you should realy talk to your doctor about what might be right for you.

If you're an exercise freak, and are in great shape, you can probably jog or run farther along into your pregnancy than most women. But, at some point, it's going to become uncomfortable and a bit dangerous.

You're center of gravity shifts dramatically, and women farther along in pregnancy are just not the most graceful creatures on earth! Walking and swimming should be enough that far along. Besides, you'll probably find that you're just too wiped out. Obviously you're not 6-9 months along yet!

Good luck!

Running or jogging while you are pregnant (in the early months in a normal pregnancy) shouldn't be harmful to the fetus. Walking would be better. Exercise (in a normal pregnancy) should not cause you to go into premature labor.

Check out the book What to Expect when you're Expecting - they have a chapter on Exercise, i believe.

I would not recommend running but light jogging should be fine. If you have always jogged and have been jogging during this pregnancy so far it will not hurt anything. Don't overdue it though, just listen to your body. Have you asked your Dr about it? I was told it would be fine. I exercised and jogged up until 2 weeks before birth and my daughter is a healthy 15 year old now.

Go for a past paced walk instead, you dont want the weight of the baby bouncing around in front of you, it will give you stretch marks. I don't think the baby would appreciate the running either.

it completely depends on the woman. You should talk to your doctor because it can be from one extreme to another. Once I saw my cousin who was 7 months pregnant running and pushing a stroller with her other child in it on the sidewalk. She was incredibly in shape and her doctor had told her it was ok. You should ask yours.
