Well the first thing I noticed was the amazing advances in robotics, whilst the latter parts of the 21st century was full of very specific robots like dishwasters, video tape recorders. The year 2035 was when general domestic bots became widely available. Obviously this was a huge social challenge as people then became worthless in the workplace, when a bot could do the job instead. This meant that people could no longer work to earn money. The whole structure of wealth had to be radically changed.

There are these space aliens that run things and they've had control of the whole earth for decades now. There are no wars, and those darned things have this amazing habit of showing up when people are about to do something dangerous or wrong.

Everyone's got plenty to eat. Everyone's got a roof over their heads. But everyone had to get an assignment of jobs growing things or building things or fixing things--fixing lots of things after that big war and stuff, that is when the aliens came. The aliens have this knack for guessing what each person is good at and finding the right things that need to be done, so the jobs aren't bad. Farm crops grow like weeds, fast and tall. Folks aren't all fat and sick, but no one's starving anymore either. It seems so amazing not to have armies and such and the aliens never seem to carry weapons. And Jesus just finished clearing off the Temple Mount and rebuilt a really beautiful temple building for the Jews, even though folks from all over crowd the place all the time--especially those aliens, some of which are called angels and others were people that he gathered up about the time that all hell was breaking lose all over the earth.

If things don't change? The population will be decreased because we no longer have the resources to support them. We will be out of oil based fuels and global warming will have started a new ice age. This will prohibit the earth from growing enough food to support the population. Over crowding the the previous century caused disease and war, cutting the population. Mankind will have regressed back to a survival mode.

BUT, if things change, we will be able to live without oil based energy. Energy will be produced by wind, tides, solar, and other methods we haven't even thought of yet. We will finally make peace with the atom and quite threatening to blow up mankind and leave the earth to the bugs. Medicine will be available to all, not just the rich. Populations will be able to control themselves rather than having religion tell them to reproduce and bring forth children they cannot feed or house.

We have the ability to control the scenario, but will we?

Everything will be run from the United States, and the rest of the planet will be developed only well enough to sustain life for it's inhabitants, while Americans will be paying for Hydrogen fuel rather than Oil Fuel. There will have been a small revolution of sorts, and people will ultimately trust their government. Microchip implantation for location and security purposes will be non-shocking. Storage for computers will be counted in terrabytes rather than Gigabytes, but Platform based Virtualization of multiple platforms will lead to a constant demand for technological progression. Virtual Reality will have finally made it's breakthrough and will be available to co-experience with others online in highly rendered 3d graphics. The news, media, and any reports we see we inevitebly not put importance on because the public will finally be aware of the role of computer editing being used constantly to sway the truth of events. Everyone will be listening to a form of electronic music as entertainment and standard, while new forms of signal generation and standard music genres become "underground". Cloning will be possible. Only for the rich however. Life will have the ability to be prolonged by 50 years, if you have the money. Cryogenic freezing will finally be abandoned after several failed attempts. Teleportation will be possible, as it was recently attained - http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/3811785.stm. Long distance Space travel will be possible. Cigarettes will be replaced by cigars. Beer will always be cold. All hot women will come back in time to meet me?

- The US is no longer the most powerful country, but still think it is. It's currently waging war against china
- People have to wear gas mask in the top 10 industrial cities
- The average human in the modern world spends: 25% of his time in traffic jam, 50% of his time in front of a computer, 10% time sleeping, the rest of the time watching TV.
- People live their whole life without ever seeing a live animal. (Pets are robot based.)
- The only remaining place where people still appreciate life is France.

I would rule the world and people would exist only to serve me and my every whim. I would have mastered the art of cloning so as to make me immortal and eternal.

There would be no metrosexuals (they would have been the first to die), then obese and fat people (of course they would have had a grace period to lose the weight or die).

MMA would be the american past time (there would be no other countries, as america would make them all states).

Other than that people would live happy meaningfull lives and not starve or have any war.

There would be no religions as we would have debunked them all (even moreso than today) and executed the fanatics.

Arabs would have long been taught the lesson, if they want to blow something up then they will be used as dynamite or explosives for construction projects.

Well, I just got back from there and it is pretty bleak. People are throwing themselves off of building & cliffs and not being able to
die. Most of the coastal cities are under water and Florida is a
tiny little state with the most under water. There isn't much food
so people are eating bugs & vegetation.

I think we have reached the apex of our civilization and it will all be downhill from here with wars, environmental disasters and over population being the problems. I hope my children do not have children.
