i want a dyson. but it is pretty expensive just to use in my small 800 square foor apartment. i have parquet floors and have always used a broom. but i am thinking that it would be a good idea to just vacuum my floors instead of sweeping them. it would also clean the floors more efficiently.

anyone recommend a small and strong vacuum for me??? i will also need to vacuum uder the bed, couch, drawers. so i will need one that has like a long hose, and wide head??????????????????????

thanks!!

Forget the funky well advertised brands and check out the vacs at Sears or other vac store. While the Orek and Dyson are OK, they are overpriced based on all the money they spend on marketing.

I agree. I have had a Dyson for 2 years now and I am not all that impressed. It is highly overpriced when you compare it to other vacuums. I have a microfiber mop that works WONDERS!!!! on my ceramic tile floors. The company is based out of Ohio and I only paid $30.00 (give or take a few) for this product. I've had mine for 7 years, have bought each of my daughters one and they both love them. Give me a holler and I'll give you the info as I don't have it in front of me right now!!!

I have one of these. I love it. It's small, lightweight and really cheap for a good vacuum.
