They're all the same type, so I'll show you how to do the fourth one, and you do the rest for yourself. I'm sure you've already been given examples like this (maybe even have a text book with some in?), but here goes anyway:

5q + 2 = 3q - 10
First you need to get all the terms with the unknown (q in this case) together, so take 3q away from both sides.
5q + 2 - 3q = 3q - 10 -3q

That gets rid of 3q from the right side, leaving only -10 there, and on the left side use
5q - 3q = 2q
to get the equation as
2q + 2 = -10

You probably were taught to solve equations like this last one before getting on to the current set: Get rid of the 2 from the left side by subtracting 2 from both sides (that's the same as adding -2 to both sides):
2q + 2 - 2 = -10 - 2

That simplifies to
2q = -12

and then dividing both sides by 2 gives
q = -6

They are all basically the same. Move all of the numbers with variables to one side of the = and the rest to the other side. Then divide.

2. 12y - 6 = 3y + 3

subtract 3y from both sides:

12y - 6 - 3y = 3y + 3 -3y

9y - 6 = 3

add 6 to both sides:

9y - 6 + 6 = 3 + 6

9y = 9

Divide by 9 on both sides:

9y/9 = 9/9

y = 1

You can do the rest.

Learn BEDMAS (order of operations). If you can't learn to solve these very basic equations you might as well not waste your time and money and quit school. The world needs garbage men too.

1. 2x+1=x+7
-x =-x
-----------------------
x+1 =7
-1 = -1
----------------------
x =6

the rest are basically the same. Just move the variables or letters to one side and move the numbers to the other side. Just solve for the letter.
