My only problem EVER! with Green Day is that they messed up Boulevard of Broken Dreams by saying the "F" word.Don't get me wrong I still love the song and the band but that is the only thing I think they should not have done.

Not in the least. The video gives the song a more vivid meaning, something to look to when you're listening to the song. This was their vision, and I don't find it offensive. And to the other answer, the song isn't about Jesus himself, it's about another called Jesus of Surburbia, who is like the god of the punks in the suburbs. Even though Billie Joe is Catholic, he wouldn't intentionally put Jesus in a video.

I think Billy Joe and the lads need to grow up. What normal 30something is still grappling with teenage angst. It's pathetic. I don't care if they don't care that I don't care, they should stop whining that nobody understands them and go home to their wives and children.
And the political views thing is a joke. Just because they start singing about what half the population is thinking means that they've suddenly become dangerous and revolutionary. What's next, a song about corperate tax entitled " 'Jimmy slits his wrists' takes Lithium kickbacks". Gimme a break. I find their whole being offensive.

Well, I have to say that I watched about... hmm... 5 seconds of the video before I was offended.

Our savior should not be affiliated with such immoral actions.
