With the new additions of Jimmy Olsen and Green Arrow to the story, and the departure of John Schneider as Jonathan Kent; plus so much of the SUPERMAN legend being told so far, along with rumors of Tom Welling's focusing on other material that isn't on an iconic comic-book character. Could this season be the last?

I've read several different places that the Lex-Clark blowup happens at the end of Season 7. So as long as the ratings stay OK, there should be AT LEAST one more season. And there's still lots of story to tell! There's the whole Justice League thing and somehow they have to get Lois and Clark together (even if I'd rather see him with Chloe). So, I think they've got at least one more season in them.

Personally, I hope it goes on for quite a while. I don't know what I'd do without my weekly Tom Welling fix. ;)

I hope not. I really love the show and if it is over I might actually cry. I love the relationships Lex and Lana /Lana and Clark/ Clark and Chloe/ and who can forget Chloe and Pete. But honestly I don't think they will cancel the show because it is making so much money.
