My yonger brother is just 16 and he came out to me when he was 14 and ive been cool and suportive of him and his boyfriends, He told me the other day that he has started seeing a new guy who is 21, 5 years his senior.
I dont have a problem with it, my friends think i should but i dont, they are in love and to me thats all that matters, is it wrong of me not to mind, should i have a problem with thier relationship?
What do you think?

Everyone should have a brilliant brother like you. You are so cool - you obviously do care for your yonger brother and he seems to talk to you openly. I think you are right - let him be in love and if it doesnt work out then be there to help him over it. Good luck to you both xxxx

YES, if it was your little sister would you mind? at 14 no one real understands love, and this older guy could be using your brother and playing on his emotions. You should give your brother the same advice as if was you, young and confussed. Don't let him feel like everything he does is cool, someone has to be strong for him and help understand that age sometimes play a part. Must also find out if the guy is really about your bro or not

Have you met this new guy? if it was a 16 yr old girl with a 21 yr old man it prob would be a prob, if it was 21yr old with a 26 yr old it wouldnt be a prob. You know your brother better than all of us, if he has a mature head on his shoulders and knows what he's doing then i dont see it should be a problem, also as long as your there to keep an eye do the big bro bit then its absolutely fine. He's growing up!

The fact that a 21 year old should not be dating a 16 year old is the problem. Even if it is 2 men, it is still statutory. If they really love each other, they can wait 2 years.

Well it could go both ways. You could be happy for him and his new boyfriend, and be supportive in their relationship. OR.. you could be worried. A 21 year old with a 16 year old? It's a crazy world now-a-days and this older guy could just be some sick pervert. I would definately keep an eye out.

No, you don't have to have a problem with it. But, I would advise you to watch over your brother..... I'm gay and I've been there, those relationships can turn horrible and leave emotional scars in a heartbeat.

I think as long as you know his happy then don't interfere. If he is unhappy he will tell you or you will see then that's when you are there to show support. As long as his happy that's all that counts.
