I'm not sure I believe it either, but it does make me wonder. It's not like Bush hasn't lied about a number of things already - Whats one more?

Keep an open mind. Don't believe all that the Bush Administration says.

Before you go "believing" the US planned the attacks on 911 consider this.

What was the motive? Oil? I don't think so. It will be a long time before we see any Iraqi oil and we will pay for it. Stock market manipulation? Who could possibly plan to make enough off a market crash due to 911 and not stick out like a sore thumb IF they knew it was going to happen? Clandestine Op? OK assuming some obscure motive by the government I can't fathom. With all the leaks in government today, do you really think someone wouldn't be blowing the whistle? And do you really think the NYT would keep it quiet? IF the Democrats weren't in on it. There is their grounds for impeachment and they would be fools not to use it to their advantage. Imagine how many prominent Republicans would have to be involved to pull 911 off?

911 was definitely a no win situation for the USA and the US government.

has anybody here read "1984" by George Orwell. There is a lot of doublespeak going on in these answers. Seems people see things with their eyes but only want to believe what others say. I've seen it and while I don't buy everything, I think it at least raises some questions. Thank you in advance for all the insults I'll probably receive.

Dude, where you been? This is the first time you've heard of the nonsense? Nuts on here, and around the world, have been using that piece of...cinematography to convince themselves and other nuts that 9/11 was a conspiracy of the government.
