How scared are you?
Very few people are not scared.
A lot, in fact mostly religious people are scared.
Only true spiritual people like monks and such are not scared of dying, the people who believe they know what happens after death, and think it is not bad obviously..
Most regular people who say no are just trying to ignore it and putting on a brave face.
So your answers are- yes, many many people.

I'm not scared of dying and I don't really care. If it's peace we find in dyin' then let the time be here. After you die all the things
you have sensed in your life get collected and then you will see
a brightness and that is you being re-born and you will live out
your entire life minute by minute without being able to change anything but you will have an awareness of what is happeening
and may be able to slow it down or speed it up but not change
it. Then it will happen again and again for an eternity until your
Spirit is called to Heaven or sent to Hell.

I'm not scared because I'm going to a much better place. I hope you are too. After you die you will be judged by God. If you have ever sinned you will be sent to Hell because there can be no sin in Heaven with God. Jesus was the perfect sinless sacrifice that made it possible for us to get to heaven. If you except Jesus, God will except you. 2 John 7-9

We fear the unknown.
Best to not dwell on such things.

Lots of people are scared unfortunately. It's because of scary stuff they were told as children or because of scary movies they've seen, books they've read, etc.
It's really too bad, because fear of death causes fear of life. And that makes it much, much less fun.
