Your friend should see a doctor as soon as possible. It is possible to have a miscarriage at 2 months but there could still be pregnancy matter inside her and she needs to be checked out to avoid further complications or infection. To find out more information about miscarriages look on the March of Dimes website. If she is scared to see a doctor see if there is a planned parenthood in your area.

Absolutely. I had four miscarriages between 2 and 3 months and the only time I took a long time to heal was when the Dr. did a D&C (surgery to clean out the uterus) on me. The other three times I never even needed it, it happened on its own with just some bad cramping. Your friend should still see a doctor, but if she stops bleeding on her own, she's probably OK. By the way, I was able to have a baby after all of this, she's now six years old and in first grade.

If your friend do have a miscarriage then she would have been in alot of pain after and she would have had some kind of saddiness not just . I had a miscarriage in the shower & I let it go down the dran. And if she did the she need to see a dr because if not everything came out then she could get really sick. and if you are worry about her that much go tell her mom because this is not something to play around with. This could make it where she can't have baby.

Yes, as far as I understand, a baby can be lost very shortly after conception if the mother's body cannot handle holding on to the baby at the moment. I'm not an expert in this, but I think it would only help to see a doctor. My cousin's wife just lost two babies in a row (two attempts) and she went to the doctor.
And if your friend actually saw the miscarriage happen, she may be in need of more than just medical support, but just some good emotional encouragement.

There a possibility she would be all right, however, if any of the embryo was still attached to her, she would be at great risk for infection, as well as infertility and other problems down the road. She needs to see a doctor for these reasons, as well as that there are several emotional issues that come along with having a miscarriage.

At 2 months, yes....if she was cramping and bleeding. The fetus is just a mass of tissue at that point....so it's entirely possible...I miscarried that way also.
One of the things that can happen is some of the tissue may still be in her uterus. That can cause serious infection, even death. That is why it is important for her to go be checked. Blessings!

no.....at 2 months along typically you would need to see a doctor cause the bleeding would be pretty severe.....plus she might need a D&C......if she did in fact have a miscarriage she needs to see a doctor to prevent any long term damage done to the uterus.....

It's possible, but you would definitely want to see a doctor to have a sonogram and possible D&C to make sure that all of the "products of conception" are gone so that you don't hemorrhage.
