Of course! Everybody gets that feeling when they are with a person they like, no matter if it is the first time or the hundredth. I still do around my fiance who I have been dating for over a year.
And don't listen to Elena, she obviously doesn't know what she is talking about.

The first time with a person is always nervous if you actually care about the other person. WHY? because you want to know what they want and what they like...and you are unsure of that in the beginning. Also if you really like the person and are being intimate for the first time...it can be the first time they have actually seen you naked and may have some self-conscience issues about that. SO, yes it is very normal...I would be worried if you were not.

Oh, lordy, yes. I still get nervous with every guy the first time or two. You are getting nekkid and into a very vulnerable position (heh, or several, if you're lucky) with a completely new person, and who knows if he'll like your best moves or think they're terrible? Yeah, it's natural, but it passes.

The most important thing would be to learn
how to spell it, before you try it:
intimate, not intamate.
An intimate relationship is an interpersonal relationship with a great deal of physical and/or emotional intimacy. It is usually characterized by romantic or passionate love and attachment. Sexuality may or may not be involved.

It depends on why you're nervous. If you're unsure of the other person or you aren't sure you're ready for intimacy that's one thing. If all systems are go, you will naturally be nervous because the experience is new to you. As far as knowing what to do, as Sandy said in the movie Grease, "feel your way"...................

it is normal to be nervous your first time, after all you're antisipating whether it will be painful, and if you're giving the right person your special gift, but after you get into the groove that the two of you have created, the nervousness should go away.

Ofcourse it is normal. The nervous feeling maybe physical excitement. What to do will come naturally if you are both ready to be intimate with each other.
