Yes,the milk of a hippopotamus ("riverhorse") is indeed pink, they also secrete a pinkish mucus to protect their skin from sunburn that has the name "blood sweat" although it doesn't contain blood.
Hippos are distanly related to whales and probably share a common ancestor, the now extinct line of "hoofed predators" that contained the famous "wolf-sheep" Andrewsarchus.

NO! Hippo milk is rather white. The common misconception is about the two acid secreted on the hippo skin to stop bacteria from growing and block sun burn, the truth is, the acid NEVER touch the milk. The milk glands is never in contact with those acid on the skin. PLUS when MILK TOUCHES ACID, IT CURDLE UP AND BECOME CUNKY

Hippopotamus milk is bright pink and contains about 500 Calories per cup. It can be ejected underwater, but is in other ways highly similar to cow milk in how it is produced and the stimuli that cause let-down.

Any other questions about hippopotamus milk?
