Yes it is. The parents' genes aren't the only factors, the genitic make-up of a human comes from long lines of ancestors. This is the reason a white male and female can give birth to a black baby and vice versa. If the mother's great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather was part african american, the child can come out that way.

Yes, blue eyes are recessive.
If you have hazel eyes, you probably have a brown eyed gene and a lighter colored gene (either blue or green). Same for your husband. So, if brown is B (it's dominant", and lighter color is b (recessive), and both parents have a Bb combo for their eyes, then the possible eye color combinations for your children are as follows:
BB - Brown
Bb -Brown/Hazel
Bb -Brown/Hazel
bb-blue
The only impossibility is two truly blue eyed people having a brown eyed kids...becuase they'd have to both be bb, and you can't get a dominant B from that.

Yes, it is even possible to have a blue eyed baby with both parents having BROWN eyes. Somewhere in the family's gentic code is the gene for blue eyes. TA DA Maybe you should have paid more attnetnion in your science class in highschool.

Yes, if each parent has an unexpressed gene for blue eyes and passes it on to the child. I have hazel-green eyes, but I know I got a blue eyed gene from my mom (by analyzing her parents and grandparents) so I have one to pass on to my kids.

It's possible, since the blue eye gene is recessive.
Both parents can carry it, and if the baby gets the gene from both parents, then (s)he will have blue eyes.

You need to consider the child's grandparents eye color, as well. Go to this website http://museum.thetech.org/ugenetics/eyeCalc/eyecalculator.html to calculate the chances of your child having blue eyes.
Keep in mind that most babies are born with blue eyes, and some will change color by the time they reach 6 months of age.
