They are basically the same thing. The bigger category is MP3 player and in that category are iPods, Creative Zen, Sansa, iRiver and others. Hope you understand now.

I'm an expert at this stuff. Basically, an iPod is made by the company apple and can hold more songs than an mp3 On most shopping sites, an iPod is called a jukebox player. An mp3 player is mainly known for being cheaper and that has a longer lasting battery.
I recomend the iPod shuffle if you are buying.

IPOD is the name brand and only works with I tunes from MSN. The other MP3 players are the same but you can download from other music sites and less expensive

nothing they r the same.... ipod is an overpriced mp3 player... i have no idea why you would get an ipod....usually the mp3 player play more formats than the ipod

You can do more with a ipod I believe, like watch movies, videos, and it holds pictures, also more songs then your averge mp3
