For me, the meaning of life was written for me by my Overlord in the following list. I shalt put * next to the feats i hath acomplished.
1. reincarnate in the womb of voodoo woman Tituba*
2. grow til about four years*
3. enter kindegarten*
4. pass kindegarten
5. get a job at K-mart*
6. while at job, meet several would be American Idol Contestants*
6. get a sex change operation*
7. fall in love and date the doctor who performed the surgery*
8. inspire him to make McNuggets*
9. grow tomatoes*
10. spread the love of knitting to punk rock preteens
11. gather the nuggets of the world for a journey back to the Planet Terconium
12. Tape the entire second season of Grey's Anatomy.
I still have a few things more to do...but this list really is my meaning of life. Perhaps you do a Svedish Jig ya?

You're born , grow up to pay taxes to bank roll the subsequent generations retirement as did your predecessor's, and then you die. Moral: keep the ball rolling. That is the meaning of life. Live so that others may have a shot at it to do better with it than you did.

Aside from the religious banter and the what ifs, I have always been taught and have come to believe that life is for living. Whether it to be explore what is out there; to answer the questions we do not know and face things we have not seen. To overcome and to grow/take in from that which is around us. The meaning of life is as simple and as complex as you make it to be. To each their own and to me it's myself.

there are 4 stages ( i read these on a shirt):
1) First you believe in santa claus
2) Second, you know santa is fake
3.) Third, you play being santa.
4.) Finally, you look like santa.
