I have a dell 3100cn colour laser printer setup on my home network but sometimes when i try and print it comes up with 'out of memory' on the front of the printer.

I have succesfully printed a 2.5MB jpg picture full A4 size tonight and now it said out of memory trying to print a 150Kb jpg picture and a 2 page text document.

Why?

If it is also a scanner try deleting some of the pictures that you have scanned if just a printer delete some of the pictures you printed and saved in memory when asked if you wanted to save them. If that doesn't work reboot your computer.

You probably have something pending in the memory of your printer. On the task bar there should be a printer icon. Open up and see if you have pending work waiting to print, just delete it and that should work.

Probably need to re-start your computer, turn off printer, and then re-start.
