Lookie here honey, if he loves you and you love him..great! Question is: how many other "friends" does he love? If everyone knows you are together why are you pushing for a relationship label. Sometimes, just the thought of being tied down in a relationship can be stressful. The thing is, if and when you or anyone wants to be in a relationship with someone you love you have to make sacrifices. Will you make the sacrifice by not pressuring him to officially date you? Or will he make the sacrifce by letting down his gaurd and opening his heart to you. Ask him .

I guess you have 2 choices: find someone who isn't afraid of being with you or continue sleeping with him for another year or five or eight and see if he overcomes his fear of you. To him titles are just that... titles. He doesn't need to be called a your boyfriend, he knows what he is to you and doesn't need to be told. Though if it bothers you that there is no title, then let him know that. If something is bothering you, you can't just try to let it pass... it will build up and ruin great things. Just think about it... does the word boyfriend mean more to you than he does?
