Q2: What points do both the play "The Crucible" and the film "Pleasantville" make?

Actually, Pleasantville is more a reflection on segregation during the first half of the century, and also before then. The whole 'coloureds' thing nailed to shops to stop them from entering, how they had to sit up on the balcony in the court away from the non coloured people.
