he wanted the thought that people get when they see him to die! He wants to be Harrison Ford he doesnt want to be "Han Solo" hes a real person and sorry but Han isnt..i guess he wants his true identity back

originally han was suppose to die in the battle for endor but then they put lando on the ship inside the death star instead of han and then they let him live. smurfy, no?

maybe he didnt want the franchise to go on with that character with someone else playing the role had lucas decided to do more
