More to the point, those involved in the making of the new Robin Hood series should all be arrested - aside from their crimes against art and history, they are celebrating the life of a notorious terrorist.

It should also be mentioned that Nelson Mandela was a terrorist during the 1960's, and described as such by the British government of the time.

Good question! technically i suppose yes we could, Guy Fawkes was a terrorist after all - he did try to blow up the houses of parliament - not that that would neccessarily be a bad thing (oops lock me up for that one) so celebrating his attempted act of terror would strictly be illegal.

I'll be handing myself over to the police on November 6th, but im sure they will think im some kind of nutter and tell me to piss off.

Guy Fawkes, although with terrorist intentions, is pretty mild when compared with what is going on in the world right now.

Stick a dozen bangers up Ben Ladin's ar_se and watch him go....thankfully!

its neither illegal to celebrate or condone terrorism. what is illegal is to get involved with terrorism, either by supporting it, or planting a small but perfectly formed nuclear bomb in the whitehouse...

terrorism is the last resort of an angry man with a kalashnikov and americans on teh doorstep...

It's not illegal to celebrate or condone it, you just can't support it financially or assist in the act of terrorism. You're free to voice your opinion, you just better watch how you support it.

We celebrate the fact that Guy fawkes failed.... You should really get your facts right before you make statements like this.. It makes you look flippant and foolish.

Yes, it's ILLEGAL to celebrate terrorism, just like it's ILLEGAL for your parents to celebrate your @ss.

Well, remember we BURN the Guy - the celebration is of the FAILURE to blow up the House of Commons and King.
