I personally do not think so, I don't know why all the reports are saying a helmet to helmet. We all know this guy doesn't even wear one...(that was a bad joke) Seriously though, He IS injury prone and this is his second concussion in less than 5 months. If you look at the replay, which I have done several times, you can clearly see that it was a legal hit and that Rotty's head hit the players shoulder pads. Let me know what you guys/gals (gals that know football) think...... Thanks for your thoughts and please be respectful......lol....

The FACTS:

1.Ben is a good QB.
2.Ben doesnt throw very much
3.Ben is mobile for his size
4.Ben won a Super Bowl
5.Eli, Donovan, Peyton, Rivers, Brees, would have all won the Super Bowl with that team.
6.Steelers Ball is not too pass that often.
7.He's injury prone.
8.He makes mistakes, especially when harrassed, as we saw in his first couple starts this season.
9.W/O the running game they once had, Ben is not as good. Not even close.

The player was not fined by the league. So there is no foul. This is great. So, it stands, The hit was not a Helmet to Helmet. Anything Else?.....

I'm a steeler fan I watched the entire game and it wasn't Illeagle, Ben isn't the one Complaining it's reporters because they have nothing better to do. Ben can't go right now and Charlie can so thats that.

As far as the Blog about Ben being over rated. The guy is a solid QB, I've seen linbackers come at him full speed he makes a move with the guy hanging on him he will still complete the pass. So what if the Steelers aren't the Rams and they don't throw it 55 times a game. It's not becasue Ben is a Terrible QB it's becasue thats STEELER Football. I'm sorry to rant on your Question to someone else, but seriosly, the guy just stared in Final Destination 3 this summer and people look for any reason to talk Sh*t about him. Good Ole America

How is he injury prone? Because someone doesn't follow the traffic lights properly and HITS HIM? Does that make him injury-prone? I saw the replay and I will say it was clean but clearly I could see the helmet to facemask. I don't think that was intentional but I think it was from Ben falling back to absorb the hit. It DID happen though.

Being from Pittsburgh, but not a Steelers fan it's been the talk of the town. I personally do not think it was. Three Falcons were on him as he went down. Maybe helmets clash, but the actual hit did not look helmet to helmet.

It looked more like to me the hit glanced off of his shoulder pads and then maybe they did hit helmet to helmet, but if they did, it certainly wasn't a direct hit. You're right, Rothlisberger will probably always be concussion-prone because of his accident.

honestly, i dont care. he is the single most overrated Qb in the league...he won a superbowl and has a good career record...but seriously, he fell into the lap of a superbowl contender...i honestly think Eli manning, jp losman, phillip rivers, aaron rodgers, and even jason cambell could have won the superbowl with that team...when you have 3 profficient backs who you can pund the ball 70 times a game with, its easy to be a qb...his mediocre passing numbers were actually INFLATED because D's would play the run...he passed it very few times a game, all short...i like him, i think he is a adequate QB...but he is so overrated that i just cant handle it, forcing me to write a small book raving on how sad it is....i wish the steelers would trade him so he could play for like the browns and lose alot...HES NOT THAT GOOD

NO!!! Ben jsut looks for excuses to protect him self. No video evidence shows helmet to helmet. Its jsut a hoax to try and protect Rothlisberger.

damn straight it was ...the problem is that the ref's are harder on defending super bowl champs then other teams so they didn't flag it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!if it would have been the other way around they would have so many flags on the feild it would be yellow not green there would have been so many penalty yards that the steelers would have starting at the two yard line at heinz feild!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
