I have to say that Hitler's realism is quite impressive, for an amateur. It is, however stiff and constrained. Van Gogh has a much more fluid, dreamlike quality showing more imagination and less constraint. Hitler's painting could have been better served with a good photograph, whereas Van Gogh's are much more creative.

Hitler's art is beautiful. It's a shame he abandoned the gift and chose the path that he did.
There's something about Van Gogh's work that commands a second look. The man ate his paints to stave off hunger. You gotta realize eating lead based oils can affect more than a person's health. Lead poisoning affects the mind as well.

Sorry but Hitler got mad at a Jewish proffessor that wouldn't let him study art. I think he eventually killed him. He was a good artist though however my vote goes to Van Gogh.

i would never pick hitler ever and say that he was "better". he was an awful person. someone that terrible should never walk the earth again.
