Ok I'm 28 weeks pregnant, and I can't ever get any sleep at night. I wake up feeling cold but sweating at the same time. And for the past couple weeks it feels as if I need to throw up... I mean at all times it feels this way, it's like it's stuck in my throat and it kind of burns... Well last night I woke up because I had to catch a breath becasue I wasn't breathing or something. Then I woke up and right when I went to the bathroom I threw up. What is this?

Sounds like you are pregnant! Sorry. I couldn't resist.
All sounds like normal pregnancy discomfort to me. Are you taking your prenatal vitamins bofore bed on an empty tummy? try propping yourself in a semi sitting position with lots of pillows and sleep on your left side. A humidifier at night near your bed might help - but go with a warm or hot mist.....a cold mist just breeds bacteria. Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. I refer to it almost daily right now and I am due Feb 2, 2007. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

you may have an infection that is causing the sweating/vomiting. also you may have some gastroenteritis. (your stomache is irritated) that will cause constant nausea & vomiting. i have the same thing, im not pregnant though. my doc told me to take prilosec for a couple weeks & that should help. but this may not be a good idea if your pregnant. call your family doc & ur prenatal doc. dont mess around with this if your pregnant. it could be something serious, you never know.

Talk to your doctor. Also how are you sleeping at night? You should at least attempt to sleep on your right side for better blood flow. If your sleeping on your back no wonder you can't breath and have to go pee. It's not really advised to sleep on your back after 15 wks.

Totally normal. As the baby grows your internal organs are pushed in different directions. Your belly is being pushed upwards. Eat small meals and nothing a few hours before bed.
Your hormones are also influx causing you to feel cold and hot.
Enjoy!

Natural prego symptoms. Try not to eat heavey foods before bed. Have you been eating a lot of the same thing lately? Also try going to sleep a little proped up. That helped me alot!

you need to talk to your ob about this, especially the breathing problem. the rest of it sounds like it is morning sickness. i had morning sickness all day everyday for the first trimester. you might have a bit of a reflux problem. try taking some tums.

Maybe you've just been coming down with a virus. I'd call my doctor, ASAP, just to make sure you're okay. Good luck, and I hope you feel better!
