I have Sky at the moment, but don't watch about 80% of the channels I have, so I'm wondering whether Top Up TV would be a better choice as it's cheaper.

Are there any problems/drawbacks with it?

I had 'Top Up TV' before I moved out here to Spain and found it good as we were able to get a few extra channels and also E4 for when Big Brother was on! E4 then became free on free view but I still used the card to watch other channels. It worked out cheaper than Sky at £7.50 ( I think) a month.
Hope that is of some help.

I cancelled my Sky Subscription about 6 months ago. We kept the Sky box and just use it as a Freeview box now. Miss a few of the channels but when I think that I am saving £25 a month, makes me feel better. When we first started with Sky it was £13 a month and they gradually increased it. They also used to charge us for films that we hadn't watched and we never got a refund for any of them. Sky is a rip off. Try using your box as freeview for a few weeks and see how it goes. Downside is that it depends on where you live as to how many channels you can receive but at least you're not paying anything for it.

O.K if you have'nt heard that top up tv anytime will be gone soon however the new service called Top Up Tv Anytime is going to be a lot better in many ways however it will cost £9.99 per month then it was £7.99 with the old service before. However you plan could be get freeview and sky in your house or just one however there are websites out there

I think Top Up Tv is a waste of money for what channels you get.
I'd get freeview. Its good value for paying the TV license!
