Seems to me that working life is severely dull compared to what i thought it would be like! In fact its much easier than i ever thought. Studying at College was far more difficult and interesting.

I actually wanted to be an assassin when I was younger and, after realising that it actually involved killing people, I'm glad my dreams weren't realised! I also wanted to be a female Indiana Jones - still do actually sometimes (I'm 30 years old)! Instead I decided to spend 8 1/2 years working as a croupier in a casino and the lifestyle was very full on. Sex, drugs and alcohol were the way of life for about 95% of my colleagues and the work itself was far from being dull. Your working life is what you make it. You also have to ask yourself whether you live to work or work to live.

No, because I was focusing in the wrong way. I was thinking about my image to others, rather than what would really keep me happy and fulfilled. I have a much better idea now what work I want to do, and I've learned that other people's views on my job and the perceived status of it, just don't count.

no. actually when i was around 5 or 6, i dreamt that i'd become a pop star! of course this was never fulfilled, nor realised: i am at university studying media and journalism and i am expected to graduate next summer. i am keeping my fingers crossed of course. do i have any regrets that this dream wasn't realised? well, not really.
