Yup, it is in beta trial still. You need an invite from someone with an account. Once you have been invited and signed up you will receive 100 invites so there are plenty floating around out there. I love it.

you can get a gmail account either by invitaion or go to the site and signup for a gmail account by using your cell phone if you have a cell phone that is i hope this helps good luck

i used my phone. you give them ur
# and they'll send u a text message with the password.
then u create an account and somewhere you enter that password.
gmail is really awesome.
