There is a scene in the film where Bruce and Samuel J find bomb in childrens park pond. They have 3 jugs. A 3 gallon jug and a 5 gallon jug. They have to get 4 gallons exactly or the bomb will explode!! How do they do it cos I dont get it I think its impossible!!!

Fill the 3 gallon jug and pour it in the 5 gallon jug. Refill the 3 gallon and pour it into the 5 gallon jug--only 2 gallons will fit. empty the five gallon jug and pour the 1 gallon left from the 3 gal jug into the 5, then fill the 3 gal jug again and pour it into the 5 gal jug, making 4 gallons in thee 5 gal. jug!

Simple...
They fill the 5 gallon jug to the brim
Fill the 3 gallon jug from the 5 gallon jug
This now means they have 2 gallons in the 5 gallon jug
Empty the 3 gallon jug
Pour the 2 gallons from the 5 gallon jug into the 3 gallon jug
Again fill the 5 gallon jug to the brim
Lastly top up the 3 gallon jug from the now full 5 gallon jug...as there is only room for 1 gallon left in the 3 gallon jug you will end up with exactly 4 gallons in the 5 gallon jug...as 5-1=4!!!

Fill the 5 gallon jug up and pour it into the 3 gallon jug.
Pour out what is in the 3 gallon jug and then pour the remaining two gallons that were in the 5 gallon jug in to the 3 gallon jug.
Fill the five gallon jug back up, then use it to fill up the rest of the 3 gallon jug (2 gallons in there, one more to fill it up). You will have 4 gallons left in the 5 gallon jug.

Fill the 5, empty the 3
Pour the 5 into the three as far as you can. Tip the 3
Pour what's left of the 5 into the 3 - that will be 2, leaving space for 1
Fill the 5 and pour as much as you can into the 3.
That leaves 4 in the 5

fill the 3. dump it into the 5. fill the 3 again. dump what you can into the 5, leaving you with 1 in the 3. dump out the 5 and dump the 1 from the 3 into the 5. fill the 3 again. dump the 3 into the 5 where the original 1 is waiting. 3+1=4. not sure if that's what they did in the movie, there's like 2 or 3 ways to do it

fill the 5 litre jug to the top, pour in to the 3 litre jug to the top leaving 2 litres in the 3 litre jug.
empty the 3 litre jug and fill it with the remaining 2 litres from the 5 litre jug.
fill the 5 litre jug and pour in to the 3 litre jug containing 2 litres. when the 3 litre jug is full the 5 litre jug will be minus 1 lirte exactly, renedering it with 4 litres exactly inside it.
