What a darling!?!?!?!?!
I would call a specialist in, you don't wanna make it worse.........
It might cost a fair bit but at least you will save your sofa
Just thought another thing, you should be able to have a claim on your house hold insurance if you have any

Yesterday I got a large spot of biro ink on a pale beige wool sweater. The pen I was useing had been sitting in a pen holder in which another biro had leaked and I didn't notice that the end of the pen was covered in ink.
I half remembered a tip on yahoo answers to use hairspray to remove biro ink from fabric. As my sweater was ruined anyway, I tried it and it worked like a dream. It took a while but it worked.
I just sprayed the hairspray onto the ink and dabbed it off with a clean white absorbent cloth. I did a little at a time and the cloth lifted it right off.
Maybe you could try a small part of the sofa which will not be noticed if it doesn't work.

Either you continue to scribble all over the sofa to create a masterpiece or you invest in some upholstery covers. I wouldn't even contemplate trying to get the marks off of the sofa. Hope you make the right decision.

Whatever you try colour test it on the back out of sight first. I would try diluted washing powder in hot water first. If that doesnt work buy some of those 'Stain devils' specially for ink removal. I hope it comes out - hide your bingo pens from now on xx

Hair spray may help (the aerosol kind). But test it on a piece of fabric under the setee first. Spray and blot until it comes up. If this doesn't work, you may have to contact an professional upholstery cleaner.
Good luck!

the only suggestion i can give is push your sofa against the wall so no one sees the back of it - i dont think those pens are water based so it wont come out
