You're probably obsessed, which is weird for a 13-year-old who was not even born when he was around. But I think it's cool that Cobain's music is still enjoyed by young people. Anyway, I was obsessed with him too when I was your age and years after that, so I'm sure it 'll pass and you'll diversify your musical taste.

I think that you are obsessed but it is nothing at all to worry about. In High School, I had posters of Kurt, CDs, videos, scrap books etc. I cried and cried the day that he died.

I still love Nirvana and listen to their music everyday!

If you want to be obsessed with someone, you have made a good choice

allright, here's the deal. yeah, nirvana was one of the first bands that were responsible for bringing grunge into mainstream. HOWEVER, they weren't nearly as great as everyone makes them out to be. pearl jam was also one of the firsts, and they were a much better band, but they don't nearly get the recognition that they deserve. everyone obsesses over nirvana just because kurt blew his brains out. in my opinion, kurt offing himself was the best thing that ever happened to dave grohl, because from there he went on to have huge success with foo fighters and queens of the stone age. anyway, i understand the teenage obsession with certain musicians and/or bands, i've been there, bought the t shirt, yadda yadda yadda. but you should also broaden your musical horizons, so to speak, and listen to other types of music. i recommend ani difranco, now there's someone with REAL talent.

I love him too. there's something about the whole tragic tortured mind that makes him so attractive. I have a huge really cool poster of him with the lyrics of dumb on it and people just get freaked out when they see it and think I'm depressed-I'm not, I just really like that song! Dont get too obsessed with him though, there's more to life! :D

Wow, you were a baby (if you were even alive) when he died. I would say you are obsessed, by the mere fact that you even have to ask that question. That said, Nirvana was a heck of a band and I'm glad to see the spirit is still alive.

Loved Cobain, loved Nirvana. I cried the day he died. Don't blame you for loving them either. Maybe obsessed just a teeny bit, but oh well! :)

Love Foo Fighters, too.

Do you have a tattoo of him on your back yet?

Good. You are obsessed, this is true, but not manically so.
