And if so, where can I find a CD copy?

Well, you're not completely wrong about it. While Mika Häkkinen didn't sing any songs there was a song written about him, called "Häkkisen Mika" by some guy called Mika Sundqvist. And it wasn't number one, but actually number 3 at highest position on the single chart in 1998. To be honest it really isn't very good song if I remember anything about it. Also, I don't think it'll be too easy to find a CD copy of it, but it seemed to be available for download for 0,49 € at http://www.biisi.fi/tuotteet/tuotekortti/?albumid=2746 (only in Finnish though).

Eddie the Eagle recorded a song in Finnish several years ago (he learned it parrot fashion), but Mike Hakkinen certainly didn't have the No. 1 single in Finland in 1998.

A lot of people think Mika Hakkinen comes from Japan.

No he did not have a number one and he did not ever release a song. Go to http//home.wxs.nl/~nijdame/who.htm to find out all you ever wanted to know about Mika Hakkinen.
Hope this helps.
