I know enough about computers to be dangerous maybe less so if you can help me please be as plain and simple as possable. What does it mean when there is supposed to be picture and where the picture is located there is a box and inside that box is another small box with an x in it. How do I get rid of this so I can see the picture.

Could mean several things, either:
1. You need Java or the latest version of it.
2. You need Flash or the latest version of it.
3. You need Shockwave or the latest version of it.
4. or in your internet options (in IE) go to advanced, scroll down to multimedia, the show picture box is unticked.
5. a broken weblink

It means that you are looking at an HTML document and the link to the image is broken. It is possible that you have it disabled somewhere, but it is more likely that it is just a broken link.
