Generally Aeroflot and Pulkovo will be cheapest. You can try a nondirect flight as well - sometimes can be cheaper. We're still talking about $550 and more roundtrip.

My favorite search site for tickets is http://www.kayak.com - usually it beats travelocity and orbitz and allows you to choose from many options (time, connections etc.)

And if you're flying from Europe - try discounters (like www.germania.com) - more is here http://whichbudget.com/

The cheapest flights from the USA to anywhere overseas are though a wholesaler.

Email me, and I will give you the number of "Internation Air Consolidators" in Texas. I have never gotten a cheaper flight online at any of the "cheap flight" sites, once the tax and airport fees are added in.

I fly there 5 or 6 times a year, and I use IAC exclusively, as do any of my friends I have recommended to them.

Try the different online travel agents like Orbitz.com or Travelocity.com and compare their rates. You basically need to shop around. I would also suggest going to some airlines websites directly, sometimes they have deals that are unpublished to discount websites.
