Traditional thinking is that first babies come late. That can very A LOT. Native Americans believe that you are pregnant 10 months with your first and 9 months with the rest. There is really no way to tell. Hang in there!

The average for healthy, non-induced first pregnancies is 41 weeks. See Henci Goer's The Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth for references.

I went into labor on my due date (exactly) and had her the next day. Most first time babys come within 2 weeks of the due date, give or take.)
Good luck.

Full-term pregnancies range from 38 to 42 weeks. But what if your pregnancy continues beyond 42 weeks? It's not unheard of — in fact according to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, 10 percent of all pregnancies go past 42 weeks.

Your baby will come when he/she is ready. I had my first one 7 weeks early and my second 1 day late....that is why they call us a microwave, they will come when their done., lol. Don't worry, take your time, believe me, it is a wonderful experience of birth and the first days, but then after a month or two...wow, you will be quite tired. I know you may be tired of being pregnant, but this is only the beginning of the rest of your "tired" life.

They say it usually comes on or after, but not always. My first I had him on my ultrasound due date, but 4-5 days before what due date my doctor had me down for.

my first child came 2 days early but it depends on the pregnancy. dont worry yourself everyone is diffrent might even be up to another week if you go to overdue your doctor will likely induce you which makes labor go by much faster lol from experience anyways. I dont think there is a connection between the number of children you had and when you will go into labour. good luck

My first came two weeks early, but every one is different. I've also heard that when you have your baby depends on family history. For example if your mom had her babys two weeks late, you are more likely to go late and vice versa.

My first baby was 17 days early, but my second baby was 9 days late..... there is really no way of telling.
It will just seem like forever now before you have your baby :) But it will be over before you know it!
