After being told the Earth was round when I was about 7 or so, I thought the world was hollow and we lived on the inside surface.

I thought that Chemistry was about explosions
i thought that Physics was about rockets, and fun stuff
i thought that in Biology we'd disect a Human


Very disipointed when i got to high school

just go to the religion / spirituality section - a lot of bible thumpers have MANY misconceptions concerning science it's unbelievable

I thought scientists actually made decent money. Must have been thinking of real engineering and not genetic engineering...
