I am making a quiet book for my niece for Christmas and am trying to come up with a few more ideas. I want this to be pretty and girly. She will be 8 months when Christmas rolls around, so I don't want anything too much for her. Any suggestions would be great.

A quiet book is a fabric book with different cloth pages. Each page has something different to button, zip, snap, velcro and felt items, etc. An example of a page in a quiet book would be an ocean page with different fish to velcro to the page so the baby can pull it off and put it back on in a different spot.

How about sewing some loops on a page and maybe you can put the loops around teething rings. They make some skinny ones. Or even a soft toy or any object of interest that she can put in her mouth. You know at that age everything naturally goes in the mouth.
Also, you could get some clear vinyl and put pictures of family and maybe herself and sew that on to a page. And maybe just maybe you could find a flexible mirror material. Babies LOVE to look at themselves!

Does any of that help?

Sorry, what is a Quiet Book?

I'm going to make a few suggestions anyway...

Kids love different fabrics, so integrating those is probably common place.

How about pictures of her family in there? Possibly something embroidered??

Sorry.. just a little unsure as to what a Quiet Book is!

I love the idea of a quiet book!

They did seasons with that book.

You could also to the ABCs with objects for every letter.

Another idea, this might be too much, would be to print out pictures onto transfer paper and iron them onto fabric. That way you could do pictures of "mommy" "daddy" and the baby herself.

Hope this helps! Good luck!
