My computer makes weird sounds?

My computer makes like 2 second audio clips. no media player's open. some times its part of a song and sometimes its just some random thing... any idea?

Very odd,can you tell us more?
A virus maybe,or ET
Check out if you have any viruses on your computer,not that I am aware of any virus which causes this.
Maybe adware or something?
Check out which programs are started on your computer.
Maybe its a background program which causes this.
