It's in the gas tank. I checked online and this is where they said it was for sure.

Depends whether it is petrol or diesel. If it is a diesel model the pump is at the front of the engine driven of the cambelt. If it is petrol the pump will be inside the fuel tank. the tank usually has to be removed to change. but if you pull up the back seat then the carpet there will be a rubber bung under that bung is the wiring for it.

It's in the tank and is combined with the fuel level sender unit. You'll need to remove or lower the tank to get to it.

I don't feel like going through all my manuals, but I will say that it is in the fuel tank. That is pprobably why you are unable to see one when you look under the hood.
