go for a walk in a park, visit a museum (many are free, depending on your city), window shopping, take a drive through the country side to look at the autumn leaves, spend some quality time with a friend or family member, read a good book or get a movie from the library or wander through a big book store (like Barnes & Noble) and look through the books there...

Being poor comes to mind. You can accomplish that quite easily without any money. In fact, not having any money makes it easier.

Sitting around thinking of things you could do if you had money. This is an activity that not only doesn't require any money, but very little engery as well.
