Are you looking for a nice place to eat like for the evening "fancy" or just lunch casual? there is this restaurant went to about 1yr ago"cuz I moved away" It was called Asuka.Or if you are willing to travel just a little further to Burbank go to Castaway. Its a beautiful restaurant great food and not over the top expensive!Great for an evening out with that special someone,it over looks the whole city!To bad you don't want fast food cuz Tommy's Burgers and Pinky's are # 1.Hope this helps!

Great Thai Food - "The Palms" on Hollywood Blvd.
Go in the evening around 7:30pm and they have a fantastic Thai Elvis impersonator.

"Zankou Chicken" on Sepulveda Blvd is fabulous (restaurant has no real atmosphere but the food is great).

Also, excellent suggestions above of "Stinking Rose" and "Roscoes" - both are great places to eat.
