They are true to my knowledge. When I used to live in a small town in Colorado they came down and taped a segment about an unsolved murder involving an officer. It was actually really cool. It did not solve the case yet but it did portray real life events.

That show used to freak me out. I haven't seen it forever, but it was the one hosted by Robert Stack.

i dont know but they always freak me out... i heard they were actually real but like i think its so hard to tell because there are ones that sound so obvious that their not true and some that seem like there true but they might not. im wondering that too!!
