www.autotrader.com
We bought a new one this summer. And found it on ebay motors.
They are really cool bikes and great to ride. Nothing like it.
Both sites will give you ones that are for sale close to you, if you do not want to have to travel to get one.
Good Luck

HOGS FOREVER! You go, girl. You and your 'Ol man. "Jet" gave the best answer. I can only add that it's a good idea to get your bike from a dealer, and not a street schmoe. At least the bike from the dealer has been inspected and serviced. Some people get an H-D and ride it until it breaks. Then they try to unload it. Remember that your little piggy will need more maintenance than a car. Treat your bike right and it will give faithful service. I have a '99 FXDWG Dyna with the TC-88. (Yes, the motor that had all the cam bearing troubles.) It has never given me any trouble in almost 50,000 miles. I live in Florida and don't own a car. She is my regular commuter ride. If I could park her in the living room, I would sit on her and watch the tube. (I did switch the stock seat out for a "mustang" seat. The stock seat did not have enough "back" for my backside.) But then again, part of the fun of owning an H-D is getting to "customize" it. Yeah, you can get a new piece of Jap crap for the cost of a used H-D, but you can't beat the looks, sound, and torque of an H-D. Plus, anyone can ride junk. It takes class to ride a Harley.

It sure would have helped to know what City & State you are in to point you in the correct direction.
1.Cycle Trader Magazine
2.Call the Harley Davidson dealer in your City and see what trade in's they may have, keep your name on their list of people to call and the type of HD you want.
3.Ebay has some good deals, you just have to know what you want and how to shop on Ebay properly to get the best deal.
4.HOG is for owners, but you can go to a ralley and always ask people who's selling.
5.Word of mouth if also good way to find a deal or the best bike.
6.Remember in the USA, someones always getting a divorce, that's how I got mine, from a guy who only road it 6 times, then sold it to me through Cycle trader mag. I saved over 4k buying it from him.

You can find Harley reclaims from Hurricane Katrina. They are a little water damaged, but the damage is minor: a little rust on the bottom, and possibly some bad gaskets. I would suggest looking for some of those, they are marked down to only a couple thousand dollars.

My pal buys all of his Harleys the two from people who've one sitting of their barn or storage and on no account use it. He asks each physique he meets if there is somebody with a Harley they on no account experience. He have been given one a million/2 value that have been ridden as quickly as. Sitting in a guy's storage. Or he buys on eBay. i asked him if he wasn't irritating approximately getting cheated. He might flow from Wisconsin to Indiana to purchase a bike. He basically had a jiffy to verify it over. He had greater time than that yet he on no account took it to a mechanic. He says that each physique he meets on eBay is honest. He gets large costs. i might additionally recommend which you write a depiction of your self in an advert on Craiglist decrease than the "needed" area of the automobiles and motorcycles. What relaxing if to procure a bike that became nicely-cared for and hardly used however the owner wasn't quite questioning approximately advertising. generally somebody else sees your advert and tells the owner of the bike. the place are you going to flow once you get the bike? Head south. It became chilly the final time i became in Milwaukee.

go to www.harley-davidson.com, go to dealers, go to dealer locator and type in your zip code- this will take you to the closest dealership. most dealerships have a wide selection of used bikes and if they don't they will know where to find them. for harleys the best place to get one is at the dealership
