U should ask her if she is smoking, that would clear things up... If she is u should tell her that that's not right and try to convince her to stop, if she doesn't stop talk to someone who could help her out, if she's ur friend she'll understand that u r doing it just bcuz u don't want anything bad to happen to her, if she doesn't get it on that way mayb she doesn't deserve u.

Good luck!!

If she is a good friend of yours then you should be able to ask her directly and tell her the resons for your concern and let her know how serious the matter is.

However, if she is just a friend who wont tell u anything and still if u r bothered, then u must try to get it out of her own mouth indirectly. try talking to her about her friends and activities in a very casual manner and within a day or two the things will be clear. Dont let her know that u really hate the things she does and the friends she holds till u know what exactly the matter is.

Above all dont get influenced by it yourself and take care of yourself too.

If all these dont work out take advice of elders. Dont worry abt ur friendship. If u r a true friend then u cant just stay mum and see her getting destroyed. Better have strained relationship than a restrained person.

To be completely honest with you, you should just let it be. If she doesn't want to stop, she's not going to no matter what. You may lose her as a friend and in fact make her lash out for being told what to do. I have been smoking for years and I have done things to friends that I regret doing because they tried to stop me. If it really bothers you then just leave her alone, I know you care but she's not going to listen to you or anybody else. Telling her not to do it, and letting her parents find out will most likely open up a whole new world of problems.

I would talk to your mom about your concerns. I wouldn't specifically say that your friend smokes because you do not know that 100%. But you should tell your mom you are worried about your friend and the people she is associating with. Teenage years are very dangerous for girls if they get hooked up with the wrong crowd. It can lead to drug use and that is never good. Smoking at a young age is a sign of possible drug use down the road. Good looking out for your friend.

You should deffinantly tell your mom and her parents because in the long run your friend might be mad at you at first but she will thank you l8er i mean really if you were in her spot would you want to get lung cancer?? deffiantly tell someone and give your friend papers on how bad smoking is just incase SHE REALLY does smoke and if she is under 18 shes breaking the law which she minght not even know your not be thinking about.

If she has cigaretts at school and you know that she does, you can go to the principle and tell him, and they will keep their 'tip' anonymous. If she ends up getting in trouble about it, they will never know that it was you, because no one would tell. She would get in trouble, and her parents would be called of course. She needs to learn somehow, and stop this addicting habit before it gets out of control. Tell your principle, or your teacher, they can be your best friend. They aren't going to say anything to anyone else because that is what they are there for. Just go to them and tell them that you dont want anyone to know.

if you are really convinced that something may be wrong then talk to her first...i used to do some pretty bad stuff and my guy friend helped me get off of some stuff....later on i came clean to my mom and all is good..

just talk to her, and if she gets all pissy then leave it be until something really alerts you have to tell her parents even though you think its wrong, because sometimes even friends no matter how close arent enough to help them.

good luck

You should call the boys and girls hotline. I dont have the number, but google up "boys and girls hotline number." If your friend is underage smoking it IS BAD. You should help her. The hotline will know how to help. It is a trusted source. You can also talk to a school counsler.

Ask your mom for advise, it depends on how close you are with your mom and if you trust that she won;t say anything.
